It's Time To Stockpile!

I've been feeling like poor Old Mother Hubbard lately, because my once flourishing grocery stockpile started looking a little bare recently (well, actually, a lot bare). For whatever reason, the stores around here just weren't having any smoking hot deals and I wasn't able to stock up like I was doing pretty regularly over the summer. But today the ads in the paper made me rejoice!

For starters, CVS had their small boxes of Kelloggs cereals on sale for $1.79 (limit 6) and I had three coupons (sorry, I don't remember the exact amounts) for $1-1.50 off two boxes of various cereals. I ended up with two boxes of Corn Flakes, two boxes of Cocoa Krispies, a box of Froot Loops, and a box of Apple Jacks--all for around $1/box. Also small Tide detergents (which, if you have boys, you know is the only thing on Earth that can even touch some of their stains) was on sale for $5.97 (limit 3) and I had 3/$1 off Tide coupons. I spent about $25 on 6 boxes of cereal and three bottles of Tide, for a savings of $32 (or 56%).

And then Price Chopper has some awesome store coupons/sales with coupon match-ups this week (for food the rest of my family eats).

Celestial Seasonings tea - 2/$5 (and I have two $1/1 coupons) = 2/$3
Earthbound Farm spring mix/spinach - $3.99(and I have a coupon for $1/1) = $2.99
------------------------------------------------------------------------Diet Friendly
Quaker Oatmeal - $1.99 (and I have 3 $/1 coupons) = .99 each
Kelloggs Frosted Mini-Wheats - 2/$5 (and I have a $1/2 coupon) = 2/$4
Kelloggs Special K Cereal - 2/$6 (and I have a $1/2 coupon) = 2/$5
And on top of that I have a store coupon for $5/5 Kellogs products
Plus a store coupon for buy any 3 Kelloggs cereals get 1 Price Chopper cranberry juice free
Store coupon for 5/$5 Progresso Soup (and I have a coupon for $1/4 soups) = 5/$4
Yoplait yogurt is 20/$8 (and I have a coupon for .40/6--I need to print more of these)
Chex cereal is 3/$6 (I have a coupon for $1/2)=2/$5
Pringles are 2/$3 (and I have a coupon for $1/2)=2/$2
Plus I have two coupons to double any manufacturer's coupon up to $1
And I have a catalina for $10 off my next $100 purchase

With a little planning, this week's shopping trip should work out really well in my favor.
