Is This Thing On?

For lack of anything better to blog about, I'm going to shake things up a bit and turn the tables on you, my readers.

Got any burning questions for me? Things you're dying to ask me about life in general? Motherhood? Writing?

How about topics you'd like to see me write a blog on?

I know a lot of people are reading my blog on Facebook, and that's great. But why don't you swing by the real blog (http://www.brittanyvandeputte.blogspot.com) and have a look at the pre-Facebook archives. And while you're at it, go ahead and sign up to follow me. It does my ego good to have "followers." :-P

  1. how DO you do fine point needle work with those two running around, two westies, and on-going rennos? is it easier to do a stitch at a time of that than to try to write a whole thought in a novel? how is nothing spilt on it, esp considering sam's poop painting episodes catalogued herein?

  2. LOL @ Cathy!

I can embroider when it's just me and Sam, because, believe it or not, he is really in awe of it, says he thinks it's pretty, and wants to do it himself (I promised to teach him when he's a little younger with better fine motor skills--needle + 3-year-old=bad idea.)

I still can't embroider while John's around, but he still takes 2 naps a day. And anyway, I do the bulk of my embroidery at night, as a way of winding down while I watch tv.

It *is* easier to embroider than write, mostly because I don't have to think while I do it. And if I'm interrupted, I can go right back to it without staring at it wondering where I was when I had to put it down.
