I have a crazy 5 year plan, but so be it. You only live once. Here's what I've decided I want to accomplish in the next 5 years.
1) Get at least 1 novel published.
2) Move into a bigger house with a dedicated play area for the boys.
3) Adopt a little girl from the Ukraine.
4) Compete in a mini-marathon or mini-triathalon.
There. Now it's out there for all the world to see. I'm working hard to achieve these goals. #2 and #3 are dependent on me achieving #1. #4 is there because it's such a departure from what I would normally be doing with my time. I need a challenge.
Today I went to the gym and worked out on the stationary bike for 35 minutes. That seemed like I long time when I set the timer, but at the end of the workout, I felt like I could've done more. I'll go 50 minutes next time. And I'm going to try out a spinning class too.
With the conference coming up, I feel driven to lose a lot more of this post-baby weight. My pre-conference goal is to hit the gym EVERY day from now until October 23rd. And stop eating crap. Cross your fingers for me...
